Not only can we you you make your ICT greener, we can also help you set up the foundation for ICT to become an actor in greening your business.
Green-ict extended network can help in bridging those gaps and temporarily bringing in the right expertise. Launching, executing and closing Green project where ICT takes a central role often needs a broad scope of skills. Green-ict help gathering the right set of skills in five main steps.
- The first step consists in identifying the whole set of skills that are needed to execute Roadmap's initiatives. A careful analysis is then performed in close collaboration with Programme's sponsor to decide whether to build internal expertise (and thus maybe postpone some of the initiatives), or bring such expertise from outside for a temporary collaboration.
- A second step consists in identifying on the market the actors that would be able to collaborate for those kind of project. Those actors can either be found in usual customer's network of suppliers, or in Green-ict's extended network of collaborators.
- Before to launch the actual project, green-ict helps making sure all stakeholders are aware of the new capabilities created and do desire their organisation to engage in those innovative trails.
- The fourth step consists in traditional project management. Customer must bear in mind that the multidisciplinary of those projects make them often specific in their management due to the lack of experience in bringing together that many skills and profiles.
- The high risk in such project lies in the inability for the organisation to maintain the project's outcomes once delivered. Hence, Green-ict helps organisation acquiring the needed skills to either operate solutions, or set up the right approach for a long-term maintenance relationship with the various actors.
