The Green-IT Quick scan provides insight in the major areas of improvement in terms of Green-IT Strategy & Governance.

Any Green initiative starts with a (Quick) Scan to help customers to assess their green situation based on facts and figures. Assessing the situation with a formal framework also helps customer to measure future evolution as time passes and projects are executed.

The very first assessment we perform for our customers is based on Green-ict's proprietary framework : it is inspired by numerous frameworks and covers the various aspects of IT's green situation, as well as some aspects on the way IT actually helps business to becomer greener (Green-By IT). Together with those various perspectives on IT's envrionmental impact, Green-ict's proprietary framework tends to cover, and measure, alignement between all 3 levels of management (Strategy, Tactics and Operations). With this in hands, customers may objectively evaluate its situation.

Some of our customers decide to either digg deeper in one of the areas of the (Quick)Scan or want to prepare for regulatory compiance. To respond to this customer's evolution demand, Green-ict uses the very same methodolgy (SGM Framework) and conduct interviews based on specific frameworks, standards or best practices.
